Meet Dr. Rosemichele Sorvino-Macchia

Dr. Rosemichele Sorvino-Macchia graduated with honors from the New Jersey Dental
School (NJDS) in 1991. She furthered her education by completing a General Practice
Residency at The Mountainside Hospital where she received her certificate in 1992. She
practiced general dentistry until 1996 when she realized that specialty in Endodontics was
her professional calling. She then went on to study at the Postgraduate Endodontic
Program at NJDS, where she was selected as Chief Resident, and received her
Endodontic Specialty Certificate.

While in private practice, Dr. Sorvino-Macchia has chosen to serve as Clinical Assistant
Professor in the Department of Endodontics at NJDS. This allows her to keep abreast of
the most current research and technology while educating the next generation of dentists.

Dr. Sorvino-Macchia is dedicated to the highest standards of excellence and ethics in patient care, creating the most comfortable atmosphere possible for the patient. She practices as a team with the referring dentist toward providing a conservative plan of treatment that best suits the needs of the patient.

Dr. Sorvino-Macchia was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ. She has resided in
Chatham, NJ with her husband and 3 children since 2000. Dr. Sorvino-Macchia has
many hobbies – many of which involve her children and moyen poodle, Moose. She enjoys practicing in Chatham and welcomes the opportunity and privilege of serving patients in her community.

Dr. Sorvino-Macchia is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey
Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontics.
